Chris McKee is the managing partner of Venturity Financial Partners, a professional
services firm providing accounting and finance services on an outsourced basis to
small, growing companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
Prior to forming Venturity Financial Partners, Mr. McKee spent several years as
a consultant, performing interim CFO and finance duties at several Dallas-area firms.
In addition, he held controllership positions at Busybody Fitness Warehouses, a
90-store fitness retailer, as well as USCardiovascular, a physician practice management
Prior to that, Mr. McKee was with The Bombay Company, a home furnishing retailer,
where he served as Director of Planning and Budgeting for the $400 million corporation.
Mr. McKee began his career with Arthur Andersen and Company in 1989, focusing primarily
on the retail, distribution and manufacturing industries throughout his tenure.
His clients included Zale Corporation. Glazers Distributing and TGI Friday's.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 1989.
He has been active in several professional organizations, and most recently served
as President of the Dallas chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization. He has served
on the board for the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas and the finance committee of
Education is Freedom.
Jeff Daugherty is the Managing Director of The CFS Group, a professional services
firm providing corporate finance advisory and contract CFO services on a fractional,
part-time and interim basis to lower middle market companies. In this capacity,
he has advised, owned and managed numerous private and public companies on strategic
planning, capital raising, debt placement, mergers & acquisitions, IPO’s, private
placements and joint ventures.
His industry experience covers a broad spectrum which includes but is not limited
to: manufacturers, healthcare, business services, telecommunications, trading firms,
electronics, and software companies. He has served in various capacities primarily
as CFO but also as CEO, COO and Board member for his client companies over the past

- M&A strategy, due diligence and integration management
- Financing and capital formation for early-stage and lower mid-market companies
- Improving cash flow and profit margins
- Developing key performance indicators, financial budgets, reports and forecasts

In the past, Jeff was a financial advisor and consultant on behalf of Harris Trust/Bank
of Montreal and BancBoston, providing strategic consultation for their growth initiatives
in Florida. Additionally, he spent a great part of his working career with JP Morgan
& Co. and Morgan Guaranty Trust of New York working in the private and investment
Prior to joining JP Morgan, he was co-founder and EVP of Bank of North America.
He was one of the founding members of this startup financial institution, and he
led a successful initiative in acquiring five financial institutions with over $5
billion in assets before it was successfully sold within 5 years at the age of 30.
Previously, Jeff was a commercial lender with Capital Bank and started out as a
credit analyst with Southeast Bank, N.A. after completing its formal management
credit training program.
Jeff earned his BBA degree in Finance from Sam Houston State University in 1986
and his MBA degree in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in 1989. He has
been active in several professional organizations, including the Association for
Corporate Growth and the DFW Private Equity Forum. He lives in Argyle with his wife
and two sons.
