Starting with his father's family-owned business, Rich has first-hand experience with the unique challenges inherent in leading and growing the smallest of businesses to those in the Fortune 500. His hands-on approach, engaging personal style and high-energy enthusiasm attract business leaders who have a passion for achieving extraordinary results.

Rich works one-to-one with business owners, corporate executives and organizational leaders to tackle the issues and obstacles that face businesses and organizations today. He works with the senior-most leader to create an enterprise that is built on a solid foundation, has a unique marketplace position, harnesses the power of their business chassis, is grounded in repeatable processes, driven by a high-performance team, and lead by a visionary leader.


An author and inspirational speaker, Rich helps business leaders visualize their goals, structure their approach, measure their outcomes, continuously improve their processes and achieve remarkable results. His clients credit him with "crystallizing our vision", "holds me accountable", "helps me keep my priorities straight", "providing practical solutions we can implement right away", and "has been a major factor in our growth and success".

Prior to joining ActionCOACH 2007, Rich was a Captain in the U.S. Army, VP HR with Texas Instruments, and VP HR then Division President with Pella Corporation. Rich is a proud Rotarian and serves on several boards including Genesis Elevator Co., Frisco Chamber of Commerce, and ManeGait Theraputic Horsemanship Charity.

Rich holds a B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. Rich has been named Coach of the Year in North Texas for 2007 and 2008, was recognized as BrandCOACH for the Americas in 2009 and was recognized as the 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

After beginning his career in industrial sales with General Electric Company and Ling, Oliver & O'Dwyer Electric, Tom entered the commercial real estate business. His real estate career spans 29 years and association with Dallas based, national office and industrial real estate developers; Lincoln Property Company, Southand Real Estate Resources/Las Colinas, JPI Realty, Inc, and Argent Property Company.

Outside the office, Tom has devoted time and leadership to numerous civic and industry endeavors. He currently serves as District Chairman, North Trail District, Circle Ten Council, Boy Scouts of America and Advisory Board, C.A.R.E.


His true passion, which is to disciple and mentor business leaders to become fruitful followers of Christ, has led to involvement in multiple ministry activities in his local church, Northwest Bible (Elder), the community at large and internationally for more than 20 years. Tom and wife Mary currently serve in the ReEngage Marriage Ministry.

Tom holds a BS degree in Engineering Technology from Texas A&M. His wife, Mary, is also a graduate of Texas A&M. They have three grown children, two of which are married and all of which are followers of Christ and Texas A&M Aggies!
