Session Overview

The most successful people (and organizations) are the most adaptable.  They all do this by developing a unique personal relationship with change.  In my talk, I help attendees become adaptable too helping them rethink fundamental things about their work, and their relationship to their work, so that they can seize new opportunities without hesitation.

I will discuss 5 fundamental shifts:

  • Identity.  I help you develop a "personal mission statement"- a way to identify your unique transferrable value, so that you know how to deliver value no matter what changes.

  • Needs.  I help you recognize your three basic psychological needs, so that they can be fulfilled (for ourself and your team) when change makes you feel unsteady.

  • Reactions. I help you feel steady when things go wrong, by reframing how we should react under pressure.

  • Process. I help you identify old processes and ideas that you're unnecessarily protecting and feel better about replacing them.

  • Words. I help you communicate new ideas to others- perfect for anyone in sales, or any leader who must introduce new things to others.
